Piqua Fish & Game

Fall 2019

Ah, fall—there are so many reasons to absolutely love this time of year. As the season turns and harvest and hunting seasons begin we're reminded of the beauty and bounty of nature, the joy of time spent outdoors hunting, fishing, hiking the colorful trees, warm autumn days and cooler mornings and evenings around campfires with friends and family.

Piqua Fish & Game will be busier than normal this Fall. We have three capitol projects currently in the works. We'll be putting a new roof on the Clubhouse, excavating a collapsed drain and installing a new cement box culvert and regrading and re-asphalting the driveway to the Campground and the Ranges from Spiker Rd to the first curve in the campground. We realize this will be an inconvenience for some of our members however, these improvements will serve our Club for many years to come. The campground and range driveway will be shut down with no access past Lot A from 9-30-10/12 and will close again from 10/21-10/25.

There's lots of other stuff happening at The Campground, ponds, The Club and Ranges this month as well. Be sure to visit our Clubhouse for our daily and weekly drawings. Our first in-house dart leagues begins on Tuesdays this Fall. Join us for Taco Tuesdays and Whiskey Wednesdays. This month we'll finish our first season of our Steel Challenge, Project Appleseed and The Miami Valley Cowboys Shoots for the season and we'll have Halloween activities for big and little kids alike at our adult and children's Halloween parties. We'll also be announcing our yearly membership drive. All memberships are due to renew on November 1st. Be sure to get into the Clubhouse to renew of join for the upcoming year. Also, we will be announcing the new PF&G Election policies as well as the information about our upcoming December Elections including the dates, board positions available for election and the process to become a candidate for the PF&G Executive Board.

Be sure to stop out to The Clubhouse to join in the fun!
